Venaria Real Music

After the great success of the last edition, Venaria Real Music is back. The summer festival of the Reggia di Venaria was born from the union between music, show and art, and, it is one of the main events of summer.

Almost two months of shows, from 5^th of june until 30^th of july, inside the attractive sceneries of the Reggia and its Gardens, with some of the most important national and international artists, for a very wide audience-

In this second edition, the Venaria Real Music gets richer and enhances its events.

The show area in the Juvarrian Gran Parterre, will host the seven Big Events: starting from the 28^th of june, on the main stage there will be very important artists the likes of Paolo Conte and Malika Ayane, Phoenix, Dalla and De Gregori, Massive Attack, The Cranberries, Roberto Bolle, Kings of Convenience, Gotan Project and Arturo Brachetti.

Beside the great concerts in the Gran Parterre, a new program is presented, hosted in the suggestive location of the Corte d’onore, the noble entrance of the Reggia, in which you can admire the famous water show “Teatro d’Acqua” of the Fountain of the Stag.

Music Lounge in the Court of honour, that’s the title of the section, presents very high level shows and national premières, with some of the most famous composers and performers of contemporary world music, with the artistic direction of Stefano di Battista and Michele Torpedine.

An aperitif will be offered to the audience of the Music Lounge (first drink included).

In addition to the program, the show area in the Juvarrian Gran Parterre hosts some Guest shows, the Beat Dance Music Festival and the performance of the Italian singer Gigi D’Alessio.

Finally, Traffic Free Festival comes back to the Gardens of the Reggia, from 15^th to 17^th of july, with three days of great free rock music.

To clinch the union between music, show, art and culture, the Reggia of Venaria Reale offers to the audience of the concerts the possibility to visit the Reggia and the Gardens at a reduced price, until 31^st of December 2010, by keeping the admission ticket of one of the concerts.

The Venaria Real Music is promoted by the Cultural Exploitation Consortium "La Venaria Reale", with the artistic direction of Michele Torpedine, the organizational support of the Regio Theatre of Turin and of the Fondazione Via Maestra of Venaria and the cooperation of MT Opera & Blue’s, Hiroshima Mon Amour, Metropolis, Musica 90 and Set Up Italy.
